Interlude: Two-Fer With Eric Beetner

If you haven't read Eric's story below, do so.

Then come back here for the news that Eric's new novel, One Too Many Blows To The Head, co-written with JB Kohl, has a tentative release date of one month from today, October 1.

In celebration of the release, Eric is now running a story contest at his site. All of the details can be found there and I will be reminding everyone here a couple thousand times before the contest ends.

Why?

Because, on October 15th, the winner of this contest will not only win the great prizes that Eric and JB are giving away (an autographed copy of One Too Many Blows To the Head, an autographed copy of JB's first novel The Deputy's Widow, an autographed copy of Norm Brown's novel Carpet Ride and an autographed copy of Christine Husom's novel Murder In Winnebago County), their story will also appear here on A Twist Of Noir.

Four free books and a highlighted space here on A Twist Of Noir and all you have to do is write a compelling story with a fist as inspiration, ala Plots With Guns? Does it get any better than that?

It's my honor to host the winning story and also my honor to do everything possible to promote Eric and JB's novel.

Good luck to all that enter the contest.
